1919 COLLECTION AUSTERE DESIGN FEATURING MINIMALISTIC CLARITY. The 1919 Collection stands for purist timepieces. Among their characteristic traits are their recesses on the lugs and elegant connections with the straps or bracelets. The straps are joined by means of a bracket that encircles the casing. This connects the rubber strap or titanium bracelet along its entire width, eliminating the structural weakness of classic horn constructions, i.e. the spring pin. The clean design of the timepieces’ dials draws attention to their fundamental features. This reduced approach reflects the desire of the Porsche Design Studio to focus on improved readability, to place the emphasis on the core purpose of these products, namely time display. The casing has therefore been kept as narrow as possible, with no increases to its overall diameter. This in turn allows for a larger dial. The case is made of titanium covered by a flat, scratch-resistant, double-sided, seven-layer anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal with a screw-down crown. Diameter: 42 mm. Water-resistant to 10 bar.
